The ASC4INN project aims to identify and develop key skills for a new innovative professional role in the field of digital transformation of agricultural supply chains, capable of managing and integrating advanced technologies to enhance the sector’s competitiveness and address challenges related to sustainability and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) goals.
Goals
- Develop and update Higher Education (HE) and Vocational Education and Training (VET) curricula aligned with the digital transformation of agri-food supply chains.
- Strengthen digital and green skills of students and professionals in the agri-food sector.
- Foster stronger collaboration between academia and industry to address real labour market needs.
- Promote the use of innovative technologies (IoT, blockchain, big data, automation) in agricultural supply chain management.
Results
- Development of new HE and VET curricula focused on the digitalisation of agri-food supply chains.
- Definition of the professional profile “Digital Supply Chain Expert – Agriculture” with an associated competence framework.
- Creation of innovative teaching and learning tools (e-learning platforms, simulations, serious games, digital tools).
- Introduction of flexible learning pathways based on micro-credentials and short modular courses.
