The OFFSET project aims to foster the acquisition of digital and entrepreneurial skills for artisans in the manufacturing sector, impacting both the educational and digital society themes of the “Europe 2020 Strategy” and following the guidelines provided by the “Digital Education Action Plan.” The goal is to facilitate the transition through digital transformation for artisan entrepreneurs (current and potential), enabling them to use digital skills and transforming them into digital artisans through their participation in professional training courses.
Goals
- Produce a collection of best practices and educational materials to bridge the digital and entrepreneurial knowledge gaps for VET trainers and business coaches;
- Create/improve the digital and entrepreneurial skills and competences of artisan entrepreneurs;
- Improve awareness among current artisan entrepreneurs and investors regarding the possibilities offered by the implementation of digital technologies and tools in the craft sector.
Results
- Increase the knowledge of VET trainers and business coaches regarding existing best practices in the digitalization of the craft sector, also raising their awareness of the opportunities it offers to startups and established businesses.
- Increase the knowledge of current entrepreneurs and investors on the topics mentioned above, as a way to achieve a multiplier effect on the application of digitalization to entrepreneurship in the craft sector.
- Support the creation of digital craft startups at the local level.
