Il progetto individua tre principali aree di competenze da migliorare:
1) Competenze imprenditoriali per cogliere le opportunità dei processi di economia circolare, con particolare attenzione al settore della valorizzazione dei rifiuti.
2) Competenze manageriali per garantire la preparazione ad affrontare adattamenti e cambiamenti durante la transizione da un modello economico tradizionale a un sistema integrato verde/circolare/sostenibile.
3) Competenze di base, come la capacità di apprendere e innovare.
Il progetto mira a colmare le lacune in queste aree, potenziando principalmente i formatori dei futuri imprenditori, e affrontando anche il gap di conoscenza dei responsabili politici fornendo materiale di consulenza. L’obiettivo è rafforzare le capacità di leadership dei policymaker, affinché possano stabilire gli incentivi adeguati e creare le condizioni necessarie per cambiare i paradigmi nei sistemi di produzione, trasporto e mercato.
Goals
- Promote the creation of new start‑ups with a business model based on the circular economy.
- Enhancing and improving trainers’ capacities by producing a collection of best practices and teaching materials to train business coaches on how to guide potential circular‑economy start‑ups in the waste sector.
- Improving the institutional ecosystem for start‑ups focused on the circular economy by raising policymakers’ awareness and encouraging the design of better legislation.
- Obtaining a more complete understanding of the trend toward the creation of circular‑economy start‑ups at the local level, with particular attention to the waste sector, and aligning with the local Smart Specialisation Strategy (S3), where possible.
