LTTA WINE
WINE Project: LTTA in Piedmont between tradition, innovation, and excellence
One and a half years after the launch of the WINE project, from 17 to 19 September 2025 a Learning, Teaching and Training Activity (LTTA) took place in Piedmont, bringing together partners, trainers, and professionals from Belgium, Luxembourg, Norway, Bulgaria, Spain, and Italy.

Over the course of the three days, participants took part in a structured programme combining training sessions with hands-on experiences across the territory.
The first day, dedicated to tradition, was held at CIOFS-FP Piemonte in Nizza Monferrato, where new training facilities were presented, including professional kitchens, a teaching vineyard, and a brewery. Activities included a sensory wine workshop and a visit to the aeroponic greenhouse. The day concluded with a visit to the Museo Bersano, dedicated to wine culture.
The second day, focused on innovation, took place between Tortona and its surroundings. At CIOFS-FP Tortona, participants were introduced to training experiences in the agri-food and hospitality sectors. This was followed by a visit to Vigneti Repetto, with a focus on the Timorasso grape variety, and the winery La Chiara Winery, where participants learned about Gavi wine production.
The final day, dedicated to excellence, took place in Casale Monferrato at CIOFS-FP Casale Monferrato, featuring practical activities including a masterclass on pairing cheese and wine. The programme concluded with a visit to Castello di Uviglie, which hosted a final tasting experience.
The LTTA represented an important opportunity for collaboration, professional development, and cultural exchange among participants.
Special thanks were extended to all project partners – the Italian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce, DomSpain, the Bulgarian Association of Wine Professionals (BAWP), CIOFS-FP Piemonte, Neh Experience, and Prios – as well as to the trainers, experts, and participants who contributed to the success of the initiative.
