Moment of collaboration: FIRST Foundations’ Fundraiser meeting and the Storyteller project meeting in Nicosia
From 17 to 19 October, the partners of the FIRST Foundations’ Fundraiser and Storyteller projects gathered in Nicosia for an intensive learning and training activity.
The meeting brought together the project consortium composed of: the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Sweden, Emphasys Centre, FOQUS – Fondazione Quartieri Spagnoli, Wisamar Bildungsgesellschaft gGmbH, i-strategies innovation, DomSpain – Educational and Technological Services, and CBE.
During the event, the produced modules were presented and the partnership had the opportunity to analyse the current state of the project, jointly deciding the next steps. The strategic discussion focused on refining the direction of the project.
The meeting in Nicosia was not only a convergence of ideas, but also a crucial moment to advance the FIRST Foundations’ Fundraiser and Storyteller projects towards their objectives.
The role of foundations and third-sector organisations in the European economy of the 21st century
In the European context, foundations and third-sector entities are not only agents of change, but also crucial pillars supporting social progress.
In recent years, the role of foundations and third-sector organisations in Europe has evolved significantly. Today, these entities play a key role in addressing social challenges, supporting innovation, and promoting community development.
In a constantly evolving scenario, improving fundraising skills and storytelling capacities is becoming increasingly crucial.
Recognising this need, the FIRST Foundations’ Fundraiser and Storyteller project was created as a collaborative initiative aimed at strengthening these organisations and bringing together unique perspectives and expertise in the fields of fundraising and storytelling, playing a fundamental role in equipping these entities with the tools needed to face future challenges and opportunities.
