AGORA Regenerative Tourism: Training for Trainers in Reus

From 4 to 6 February, the CBE team travelled to Reus, where DomSpain hosted the Training for Trainers event of the AGORA Regenerative Tourism project.

The meeting was dedicated to strengthening trainers’ skills through the presentation and in-depth exploration of the training modules developed by the project partners. The activities provided useful tools for implementing regenerative tourism practices in different contexts, with the aim of promoting a more sustainable and resilient approach to tourism.

Alongside the working sessions, participants had the opportunity to explore the cultural heritage of Reus, with visits to Casa Navàs, a thematic dinner at the Museo del Vermut, and a guided tour discovering the city’s identity and its local ecosystem.

These experiences highlighted the importance of a place-based approach to tourism, emphasizing the role of history, culture, and local stakeholders in developing regenerative practices.

Special thanks were extended to all project partners, including Chambre de Commerce Italienne de Nice, Sophia Antipolis, Côte d’Azur, DomSpain, Taste Roots, Upwell, Eurosuccess Consulting, p-consulting.gr, the Bulgarian Association of Wine Professionals (BAWP), and Greenescape Oy DMC, for their collaboration and participation in the meeting.
