AGORA Regenerative Tourism: Multiplier Event and Project Closure

Last Friday, 21 November, CBE hosted the multiplier event of the AGORA Regenerative Tourism project, bringing together local partners and tourism stakeholders to explore new approaches to co-creating authentic and regenerative tourism experiences.

The meeting provided participants with the opportunity to deepen their understanding of how the AGORA project contributes to strengthening local ecosystems by fostering collaboration among territorial actors, promoting sustainable and immersive tourism models, and developing skills related to regenerative tourism through continuous training pathways.

During the event, the main results of the project were presented, including:

  • the interactive map of local producer networks;
  • the blended learning programme for educators and local operators;
  • the AGORA guide with tools and solutions for regenerative tourism;
  • co-design spaces for citizens and experts aimed at developing local tourism models.

Project materials are available as open-source resources free of charge on the official website: https://agoraproject.eu

The event also marked the official closure of the AGORA Regenerative Tourism project, which, after 36 months of activities, brought together a European partnership committed to promoting authentic, sustainable tourism driven by local communities.

A special thank-you was extended to all partners and participants who contributed to the success of the project: Chambre de Commerce Italienne de Nice, Sophia Antipolis, Côte d’Azur, DomSpain, Taste Roots, Upwell, Eurakom, Eurosuccess Consulting, p-consulting.gr, Bulgarian Association of Wine Professionals (BAWP), and Greenescape Oy DMC.
