Kick-off Meeting ASC4INN

3 December 2025 | EU Projects

ASC4INN Project: Official Launch of the European Project on Digital Innovation in Agri-Food Supply Chains

The ASC4INN project – Alliance for Fostering Innovation in Education and Enterprises through Digitization of Agriculture Supply Chains – was officially launched with a kick-off meeting held on 2–3 December and hosted by Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) in Greece.

The meeting brought together representatives of partner organisations from six European countries, including Frederick University (Cyprus), ECOLE – Enti Confindustriali Lombardi per l’Education, Politeknika Txorierri, European Digital Learning Network ETS (Dlearn), Cluster GAIA, FarmTech Society, BIC Innobridge, Atlantis Engineering, Emphasys Centre, and Digital Value Chains P.C..

Funded under the Erasmus+ Partnerships for Innovation programme, the project will run for 36 months and aims to develop innovative curricula and training tools for higher education (HE) and vocational education and training (VET), with a particular focus on the digital transformation of agri-food supply chains. ASC4INN responds to the growing need for skills in the sector, where the adoption of digital technologies is a key challenge for agricultural supply chain managers, who must remain competitive while ensuring alignment with ESG objectives.

The project addresses the skills gap in key areas of agricultural digitalisation, including automated robotics and drones, Internet of Things and blockchain for traceability and food safety, big data and advanced analytics, as well as investment and risk management in emerging technologies.

CBE, as a European Economic Interest Grouping based in Brussels, is responsible for developing the training content related to “Investment and risk management in emerging technologies”, supporting participants in assessing the feasibility of technological investments in enterprises.

The project will adopt an innovative training approach integrating blended learning, game-based learning, and virtual scenarios, including augmented reality (AR) systems for practical activities and a modern accreditation system.
