The FAIRLY project targets people with little or no financial background, aiming to educate them in financial knowledge and provide them with the essential tools to recognize illegal practices in the provision of financial services related to daily and/or work life.
The main objective of FAIRLY is to promote financial literacy among the unemployed (particularly young people), families, and professionals, enabling them to protect themselves against the most common illegal practices in the financial and everyday economic world, while fostering “anti-fraud skills.”
Goals
- Increase financial literacy and their ability to make economic and financial decisions.
- Enhance adults’ abilities to start a business and address the related challenges.
- Educate about the so-called “legal economy,” especially in rural and less developed areas.
- Increase the ability to recognize “wrongful behaviors” in the financial field and develop awareness of economic and financial decision-making.
- Develop innovative educational practices, with particular focus on methodology and the development of educational ICT tools, such as smartphone apps.
Results
- A training program on the legal economy.
- A training platform and an app.
