The project aims to transform local ecosystems through learning, enhancing the interconnectivity between community partners, local producers (of food and wine), and tourism operators, as well as co-designing regenerative tourism experiences.
Goals
- Support local ecosystems by connecting community partners, local producers, and tourism operators, and co-designing regenerative tourism experiences based on authenticity and sustainability.
- Improve the capacities of community learning centers;
- Connect ecosystem actors and encourage them to learn and co-design authentic, immersive, and meaningful experiences for guests, highlighting the uniqueness of each community.
Results
- Enhancing the capacity of local tourism ecosystems to become more regenerative through the adoption of sustainable/regenerative practices.
- Increase lifelong learning opportunities for adults, focusing on the improvement of life skills.
- Increase the number of tourism ecosystem actors equipped to address the challenges posed by society’s sustainability demands.
- Increase the number of adult educators equipped with the necessary skills to train adults in developing immersive experiences as a key tool for regenerative tourism ecosystems.
