FINMAN

The FINMAN project aims to reach people with low financial skills, including low-income individuals, women, young people and the less educated, older adults, NEETs, and other disadvantaged groups.

The project seeks to create tailored training content on the most relevant financial literacy topics, providing real-life knowledge and essential financial skills. This content will include a series of courses based on understanding the challenges faced by the target groups, as well as an open-access online training platform.

Goals

  • Address the need for methodological tools to teach this complex subject in accessible language.
  • Increase trainers’ competencies in the active use of digital tools and gamification elements.
  • Engage all stakeholders to improve financial literacy education and make it accessible to everyone by developing the FINMAN plan for cooperation.

Results

  • A training course divided into modules, based on consultations with experts during specially designed focus groups.
  • An online repository of the entire training course, gathering useful materials from external sources.

  • A specialized training platform that will be available for at least 5 years after the end of the project, providing access to an interactive training program for individual or group learning.
  • An online database of experts and financial organizations providing advisory services, laying the foundation for a supportive and cooperative community in the field of financial literacy.
  • A cooperation blueprint that will foster collaboration among stakeholders and support the further exploitation and transferability of the project results into school, university, and VET programs.
